Launch of structured agricultural outreach and training programs designed to support smallholders. In 1974, Desouza Farms rolls out the first regional "Farmer Recognition and Productivity Initiatives" providing technical assistance, crop security programs, and seed preservation technology, establishing a supply chain loop built on local trust and shared value.
Precision Engineering Integration
The second generation coordinates a major capital expenditure program, integrating modern sorting machinery, temperature-controlled silo storage systems, and early-stage food preservation machinery. The company expands operations from raw crop trade to semi-processed and packaged goods, supplying large food brands and institutional buyers across India.
Launch of Global Export Operations
The company restructures as Desouza Farms LLP, shifting focus to structured global B2B trade. We establish a specialized export desk and secure critical international food safety licenses. The first container-load consignments exit Indian terminal ports, targeting buyers in the Middle East and East Africa, initiating a rapid expansion to different countries.
Divenza's Kitchens Cannery Launch
Commissioning of our state-of-the-art canning and processing facility in the KSSIDC Industrial Estate, Khanapur. Operating under the Divenza's Kitchens® brand, the factory integrates automated batch retorts, positive-pressure air locks, and high-speed seaming lines, boosting daily production of canned vegetables, proteins, and milk products to export scale.
Fourth-Generation Scientific Operations
Under the direct management of CEO Rayanpaul D'Souza (M.Sc. Göttingen) and Santosh Emmanuel (B.Sc. Food Science), Desouza Farms LLP operates as an asset-backed manufacturer, managing 77 FMCG products. We combine modern agricultural laboratory research with global logistics networks, ensuring direct, verified wholesale container deliveries worldwide.
